Central Presbyterian Church (USA) has faithfully served the Waco area since 1869. In 2004, it moved to its current location in Woodway from its previous downtown facility, which now houses Mission Waco, an ecumenical ministry that brings the gospel to the marginalized, poor and the un-churched. As it has been for 140 years, Central Presbyterian continues to prosper and serve the Waco area with a unique and faithful witness to the transforming love and grace of Jesus Christ. Its mission remains unchanged: “To build community by welcoming diversity in our church family, teaching the gospel’s unfolding story, nurturing spiritual growth, sharing joyous worship and fostering an ethic of service. Come and visit the place that proclaims, “Christ is central to all we do!” Worship is every Sunday at 10:45 a.m. Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m.
