Everything at First Lutheran Church of Waco revolves around God’s Word: studying God’s Word, preaching and teaching God’s Word and most of all sharing God’s Word. “We are a family of redeemed sinners sharing God’s message of salvation through Jesus Christ. As we worship, we hear of God’s forgiveness to all of humanity through the death and resurrection of Jesus.” Dedicated to missions work locally, nationally and globally, last year, the congregation of First Lutheran helped start a medical mission in Sierra Leone, West Africa, a clinic that serves mothers and their infants.
